The GHS Performing Arts strives to ignite passion, interests and talents by offering performance instruction and memorable experiences that encourage students to take risks, gain confidence, and feel accepted in our community.
The department's vision is to consistently create high caliber performances inside and outside the classroom, engaging students to reflect the complex racial, economic, and cultural diversity of the GHS community.
The Gateway High School Performing Arts Department has always been a visible member of the surrounding community, performing throughout the school year at local elementary and middle schools, churches, and other non-profit organizations. The Performing Arts Department has a reputation for excellence and inclusion and currently offers numerous performing ensembles, allowing students of all experience levels - from beginner to advanced - to explore their passion for performance.
